The company's drugs are sold in more than 45 countries all over the world. The challengeIn conjunction with the global launch of its veterinary drug Uniferon, Pharmacosmos held an agency competition which Pravda won. Uniferon is used to treat iron deficiency in piglets and the aim was to develop a global identity and a scalable brand platform ensuring the continued positive reception among pig breeders and vets from different cultures and geographical areas. The task was to generate enthusiasm for the product among distributors, vets and pig breeders while taking into account the framework for marketing set by the stringent ground rules that apply within the medical industry. The solutionTo get an insight into what appeals to consumers all the way from Kjellerup to China, Pravda have carried out extensive research. For example, in-depth research was required simply to find a 'global pig', because pigs look different throughout the world. During the process, logos and other slogans were tested in focus groups in a number of countries. The result was marketing material with a consistently bold brand colour which signals health, commitment and professionalism all at the same time. The material is not overly complicated while at the same time satisfying all medical industry requirements for information and documentation. In addition to the Uniferon job, Pravda have also been chosen to solve various other tasks for Pharmacosmos. "It's important for Pharmacosmos to have business partners who can ensure the development and implementation of global brand platforms for our medicines. At the same time, our ambition is to take advantage of online developments to continue gaining insight into the needs of the consumers and genuinely turning these into solutions. Pravda won the agency competition simply because they demonstrated the aptitude and desire to develop a strong global identity and platform for Uniferon; the cooperation that has followed has simply confirmed our opinion of these qualities in Pravda. And, more importantly, our experience is that pig breeders, vets and distributors always react positively whenever conversation turns to Uniferon.
